The Club was founded in 1947 and is affiliated to the English Bowling Federation.
The Club is ideally located in the centre of Bassingham Village on the Playing Fields by the Village Hall. Ample parking is available. The Green can accommodate a maximum of six rinks and there is a Clubhouse with views across the Green.
During the Summer social bowling is available throughout the week and competitive bowling is offered through afternoon and evening leagues. Throughout the Autumn & Winter months many members also play indoors at the Lincoln & District Indoor Bowling Club. The N. Scarle and L.A.B.L. fixtures pages provide further information regarding the leagues that the club currently takes part in.
New members are always made to feel welcome and if you have never played before, you will be encouraged to come and have a try to see if the game is something that you may enjoy. The club has lots of new players and holds social events with emphasis on building a friendly as well as a thriving competitive bowling club for Bassingham and it's neighbouring villages.
